We’ve been in lockdown in the UK for over two months now, and whilst lockdown restrictions have lifted slightly, we still cannot meet up with our friends and family in the ways we are used to. As time has gone on my friends and I have got creative with different ways to socialise over the internet.
If you’d like some fresh ideas of fun ways to stay connected with your friends during lockdown then continue reading!VIEW POST
Hey! I’m going to talk you through everything I read in May 2020.
This month I managed to read a total of 9 books and 3324 pages. I read a mixture of middle grade, YA, and adult. As well as a range of romance, dystopian and fantasy amongst those three categories.VIEW POST
It’s that time again, I’ve tested out everything in my October Boxycharm and now I’m going to tell you my thoughts! Overall, I was impressed by the selection of products in this month’s box, however, there was one product I had some issues with so read ahead to see which one didn’t live up to my expectations!VIEW POST
I’m in my third, and final year, at University now, which I think makes me a good candidate for spilling the dirt on what being an English Literature student is really like! From how much reading the degree actually consists of, to what essays and exams are really like I’m the girl who’s about to tell you it all!VIEW POST
It would be fair to say that I love beauty products and am always excited to try new things out! That’s why I’m a fan of subscription beauty boxes, it means that once a month a host of products appears at your door and you don’t have to even search for them! Someone else has done all the work for you!VIEW POST
I’ve been a fan of Colorpop cosmetics for a while now, their cheap prices and amazing formulas make them a hard cosmetic company to resist. When I was a little younger I would order loads of their liquid lipsticks to my Dad’s hotel every time he visited America for work, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try out some of their other products now that I myself am living in Los Angeles (if you don’t follow me on Youtube, Instagram or Twitter you may not know that I recently moved to LA for the remainder of 2019 – I shall write a post on this soon!).VIEW POST
I was diagnosed with Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, also known as CVS, when I was 17. I created this blog post to share my experience with the illness and to hopefully reach some people that have been newly diagnosed or are struggling to get a diagnosis.
What is Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome?
CVS is a rare illness, that normally presents itself in children, where the sufferer experiences repeated, and or prolonged episodes of vomiting or nausea.
Personally, I have suffered from prolonged episodes of vomiting that occur relatively frequently, as well as a lot of nausea.VIEW POST
I received a box from Letterbox Gift as a 21st birthday present. I’ve been meaning to write this post for WEEKS now! But here we finally are, I’m here and I’m writing it.
As you’ll be able to tell from the title, today I am going to do a review of letterboxgifts.co.uk. My mum sent me ‘The Pamper Box’ for my 21st birthday and it was definitely one of my favourite presents! There’s just something about receiving unexpected parcels through the post isn’t there?! The parcel actually arrived a couple of days before my birthday and I could tell that it was something exciting just from how good it smelt! (I did however manage to wait until my actual birthday to open it!)VIEW POST
I’ve been lucky enough to visit LA twice in the last year two years (since writing this I’ve also studied abroad in LA too). The first time being a quick tag on trip after joining my Dad at a work conference in San Francisco, this trip only lasted four days (two of which were traveling to and from). Yet, in this short space of time, both of us fell in love with it and booked our following year’s flights a few weeks after returning home.VIEW POST
